If you are keeping your baby in the same routine all of the time you will probably have a less fussy baby. For an infant you can’t really keep their napping to a schedual because they sleep so much, but you can with their eating. Try to feed them every 3 hours or so.
If you are working with a toddler you can have a daily routine of meals at 7:00, 12:00, and 5:00 with snack time between them and a long nap after lunch or two shorter naps. It really doesn’t matter what routine that you have your baby on, but it is nice when the child knows what to expect. If your child knows that nap follows lunch maybe they will not fight it.
