| We chose names we liked for the first names, and the middle names are grandparents' names. |

| My grandmother died the day I found out I was pregnant with my two-year old, so she has my grandmother's name. We were very close and her death was unexpected, so it only made sense that my daughter would be my tribute to her. |

| I always liked the book of Isaiah in the bible and I thought it was nice name. My boyfriend and I both agreed on it immediately, so I thought that was a good sign! |

| We used one, but only to find the meaning behind the names once we had already picked them out! |

I used a baby name book, but it became too overwhelming! Then we found the Social Security Administration's Web site: http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/
It really helped because instead of one million names, we could look by the most popular to the least (we kind of wanted to be right in the middle: not too popular, but not totally off-the-wall).
We ended picking first names that we liked and then using grandparents/parents names for middle names.
Picking a name is soooo overwhelming, isn't it!?!? |

We had our first boy's name picked out forever, and middle names were grandparents names (he has 2 middle names)
Our daughter we got her name from a reality tv show (totally embarassing to admit LOL) but we changed the spelling
My baby, we had already used grandparents names etc so went absolutely freestyle and chose exactly what we liked. His first name we liked and would have used if my daughter had been a boy, and his middle name is from my favourite singer _________________ "Dance like nobody is watching, Sing like nobody is listening - and hope for their sake they aren't!!!!" |

Tell us what the reality tv show is and we'll tell you if you should be embarrassed! |

LOL, It was Australian Idol Not too bad on the scale of reality tv shows I guess, I actually wrote to the girl on myspace and told her we had modified her name, she was absolutely ecstatic and even loved the spelling change _________________ "Dance like nobody is watching, Sing like nobody is listening - and hope for their sake they aren't!!!!" |

That is really funny! You're right, there are definitely worse reality tv shows you could take the names from... |

My son`s name is Oliver. We picked it because his father is French and we need international name. In Fance they use more Olivier but in my contry we use Oliver. I think it sounds good in every language. _________________ http://paikesejanku.etsy.com |
