My son, who is 6 1/2, is still terribly afraid of going to a friend's house without me or my husband. Yesterday, it was his best firend's borthday party and I couldn't stay because I have pinkeye. He would not stay. Incidentally, his best friend's mom was his babysitter for the first 5 years of his life! I don't know what to do. He has friends come to our house (without their parents) but he is afraid to go anywhere else!
