My future sister in law is 12 weeks pregnant and is having severe morning sickness (lasts all day).
I suggested ginger biscuits and water as that is what I used when I got pregnant.
Does anyone else have any tips for helping with morning sickness as my suggestion failed miserably! |

| I always kept saltine crackers by my bed and would eat a few before getting out of bed in the morning. That helped me a lot. |

Oh dear mumof two... I really sympathise with your sister... I had all day morning sickness for months with all 3 of my pregnancies... Its actually one of the reasons I don't ever plan to have a baby number 4.. LOL
My only advice to her is to snack on bland type food regularly throughout the day. Don't eat just one big meal... for example I at boiled potato, toast, etc etc....
Getting enough water is important too,, when I couldn't handle water I would mix it half/half with apple juice as it tasted nicer......
sipping on some peppermint tea may help also, i tried that in my first pregnancy, and lastly, there are also vitamin supplements that are specifically for morning sickness, I have a feeling they are high in vitamin B
Good luck to your sister _________________ "Dance like nobody is watching, Sing like nobody is listening - and hope for their sake they aren't!!!!" |

My mother-in-law was really sick with all five of her babies. I was sick with my first (a girl) but only up to 12 weeks. And I was sick for about 2 weeks with my second (from about weeks 6 to . I did the saltines, too, right next to my bed. And this sounds sooo odd and I couldn't believe it worked for me, but I would get a fast food breakfast sandwich and hashbrown and it really helped. |
