Holidays normally mean doing a lot of visiting and having a lot of visitors. Your baby still needs their nap and to be eating at the same times that they would if this wasn’t a Holiday season. Sometimes this means taking some extra items when you leave the house, such as a pack, play, blankets, snack foods and even extra cups or bottles. If you are not at home and your baby needs to take a nap ask if you can use a spare room so that your baby can rest peacefully, so it may be a good idea to bring a set of baby monitors as well. You want your baby to have a happy Holiday, so keeping him/her well rested and on their regular schedule can help!

Make changing diapers a time to bond by talking to your baby. It is a good time because they will have all of their focus on you instead of trying to find a way to escape. Just make a lot of eye contact while you are talking to them. After your baby has a clean tush you have a good opportunity to tickle your baby. If you start this while your baby is an infant it may help you in the long run when you have that wiggly baby.

The site is being updated to WordPress… Thanks for your patience! The blog will not be moving to a new address, it’ll still be here at MyBabyAdvice.com, it’ll just be using a new format (WordPress) and this requires a bit of a transition period (which is what you are seeing now…)

In the meantime please visit the Baby Forum and the Baby Store.
