When both the mommy and daddy are doing the parenting together, whether is be one is staying at home or both mommy and daddy work out of the home. To have the most effective parenting you need to have good communication, not only to the child, but to each other. Get together with your significant other/spouse and talk about what is going on. Keep the other informed. If you stay at home with the child, talk to your spouse about things that happened that day. If the child was good or bad talk to your spouse about what should be done for the behavior.

These days things are so hectic! It can be hard to get your family together, so try to just make dinner happen every night. If your baby learns this at a young age they shouldn't have a problem when they are older knowing that dinner time is family time. Once your child gets a little older maybe 4 or 5 you can have a family game night. Play board games, and just spend time together as a family!!
